João Paulo da Silveira Ribeiro, representing the OAB/RJ, holds a hearing with the President of the TCE/RJ to discuss the chronological order of payments made by the Public Administration
Partner João Paulo Silveira Ribeiro, Chairman of the Commission for Works, Concessions and Control of Public Administration, of OAB/RJ, has held, on 04.22.18, an institutional hearing with Hon. Counselor Marianna Montebello Willeman, President of the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
The meeting aimed to address the regulation and implementation of actions aimed at complying with the chronological order of payments made by the Public Administration, as provided for in art. 5, of Law 8.666/93.
During the hearing, Resolution No. 08/2014 of the Association of Members of the Courts of Auditors in Brazil (“ATRICON”) was addressed, which established guidelines to be observed by the Courts of Auditors. Was also highlighted the Normative Instruction no. 2/2016, of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management, which provides for “compliance with the chronological order of payment of obligations related to the supply of goods, leases, execution of works and provision of services, within the scope of the General Services System – Sisg”.
Given the above, Hon. Counselor Marianna Montebello Willeman, corroborated the concern expressed by the Commission for Works, Concessions and Control of Public Administration and pointed out that the TCE/RJ will adopt strategic action so that the chronological order of payments is better observed, in respect of the principles of morality, impersonality and isonomy.
